Grant Tucker is a saxophonist, pianist, and composer from Larchmont, New York.
Currently studying jazz at NYU, Tucker has been able to learn from and play with music legends such as Dave King, Dave Liebman, Dave Pietro, and Adam Rogers. While having a jazz background, Tucker is able to adapt to many musical situations—Tucker actually began his musical studies with thirteen years of classical piano training, and has performed in many funk, indie, hip-hop, and soul groups, in addition to his classical abilities.
Tucker is currently working on two projects—Songs My Mom Likes, where Tucker creates avant-garde covers of pop songs, and an untitled collection of solo works—both of which he is debuting during performances.
